North Puget Sound’s “Opportunity” Ride

What a BLAST!

Our Nasty North Brother’s in the North Puget Sound put on one hell of a ride this past weekend.  The poker run started at the Cycle Barn in Marysville, WA and ended at the Fleet Reserve Lodge in Oak Harbor, WA, with stops at the Conway Muse, Big Lake Bar and Grill and the Corner Bar and Grill along the way.  Good open roads, excellent company, and a well planned and led ride all the way.  Skagit Valley is always nice for riding on a hot summer day…

The ride, raffle, and auction raised funds for the Opportunity Council of Island County.  Once again, Brothers, a valiant success both in execution and in cause!

Check out the North’s Facebook Post event report and thank yous…

Rock and Rally for the Troops is a annual Poker Run and Rock Concert put on to raise money for Operation Ward 57 which tirelessly works to benefit wounded service members.
The Poker Run, put on by Brothers In Arms MC, Puget Sound Chapter, started at Rock the Dock Pub and Grill in Tacoma, and guided riders to favored watering holes The Yardarm, The Pony Keg, Coco Joe’s, and The Milton Tavern before guiding riders to the final destination at Cheney Stadium for the Rock Concert.
The concert consisted of headliner Thousand Foot Crutch as well as supporting bands Three Pill Morning, Rain Light Fade and CLear the Chaos. Also on stage was a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem by Christina Brewer and guest speaker Adam Keys.
BIAMC happily presented OPW57 $3075.00 toward the cause. Thanks for joining us for a great day!

Algona Days 2016

Algona Dayalgona2016s Bike Show
For the past two years, in conjuction with the Algona Days Festival, BIAMC-OC has hosted a small Bike Show. The event included 7 entrants in the Cruiser catagory, displays from local motorcycle dealerships Indian-Victory Motorcycles of Auburn, and PNW Powersports, the ever throttling Dyno Steve and two vintage motorcycles from Burgins Motorcycle Museum of Spanaway. Along with the Bike Show, we held raffles and an Auction to raise money for the Washington Soldier’s Home at Orting.
This year’s event was a success, raising more than $1200 which will be combined with the funds raised earlier in the year by another BIAMC chapter to purchase a medical device for the Veteran’s Home.

Unfortunately, two of the local dealerships that has committed to be part of the festival decided not to honor their committment to the event and were no shows the day of the event, Destination Harley-Davidson, and Hinshaw’s Motorcycles.
